Silence
Let the noise settle. Listen for what becomes noticeable in the quiet.
I wonder how often we allow ourselves to be truly quiet. Not simply a moment without conversation, but a space where we are no longer rushing to fill every silence with something to do, think about or resolve.
Silence can feel uncomfortable, especially when there are questions we haven’t answered or feelings we’ve been too busy to notice. Yet sometimes, when the noise of everyday life begins to settle, we become aware of something that has been quietly waiting for our attention.
It might be a feeling, a longing, a memory or simply the need to rest. We don’t always have to do something with what we discover. Sometimes noticing is enough.
A question to carry
What might I hear within myself if I allowed a little more silence into my life?
Where it began
Serenity Unveiled
Before these cards became a digital experience, they began as Serenity Unveiled, a collection of 55 printed reflection cards.
That original collection continues to inspire this evolving invitation to pause, reflect and listen.
