Cookie Policy

What this site stores, and what it does not.

This page explains how lynbaird.com uses cookies and similar tools. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.

The website is operated by Life Bridge Pty Ltd (ABN 29 132 643 497) of 13 Norval Court, Maroochydore QLD 4558, Australia.

The short version

We do not currently use advertising cookies, social-media tracking pixels, or analytics cookies on this website. We do not run a cookie banner that asks you to accept marketing cookies, because we are not setting those cookies.

If that changes, we will update this page first.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file stored on your device. Similar tools include local storage in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work. Others remember preferences or measure visits.

What this site uses

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel. Their systems may set cookies or record technical logs (such as IP address and browser) so pages can be delivered and kept secure. These are treated as strictly necessary for the site to function.

Typefaces

We load Cormorant Garamond and Karla from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those files from Google. Google may process that technical request under its own terms. This is how the site is typeset today; it is not used by us to advertise to you.

The Circle

If you join the Circle, Mailchimp (Intuit) processes your name and email. Mailchimp may set cookies on its own pages if you later click through to manage your subscription. Joining on this website does not place a Mailchimp advertising cookie on the Lyn Baird pages themselves.

Your browser

The menu and a few small interface details run in your browser. We do not use that to profile you.

Cookies we do not use (yet)

How you can control cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect how some sites behave. You can also use private browsing.

Google’s tools for ads and fonts are described in Google’s own privacy and cookie information. Mailchimp’s are described by Intuit.

Third-party buttons

Links to Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn do not load those networks’ tracking scripts on our pages. If you follow the link, you leave our site and their cookies apply.

Changes

If we add analytics or any non-essential cookie, we will say so here and, where the law requires it, ask before setting it.
