The writing on this website — including the Story Room, book pages, retreat pages and letters from the Circle — is offered as literature, reflection and invitation. It is not a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy, medical care, legal advice, financial advice or spiritual direction from someone who is sitting with you.

Lyn has worked as a nurse, clinical counsellor, educator and retreat facilitator. That history informs the work. It does not mean that anything published here is personal advice to you.

The cards are a reflective tool: a way of pausing and paying attention. They are not a diagnosis, a treatment, a fortune, or a replacement for professional support. If you are in distress, please seek help from a qualified practitioner or local emergency service.

Historical fiction and ancestry

The novels are works of fiction, even where they walk through real places, records and histories. Ancestral notes and research are shared in good faith. Parish records, certificates and family stories can be incomplete or wrong. Please do not treat the site as a certified genealogical report.

Retreats and gatherings

Details of The Threads Between Us and any future gathering are given so you can see what is taking shape. They are not a contract of travel, accommodation or tour services until a booking is made on the terms provided at that time. Life Bridge Pty Ltd may work with other operators for the practical running of a retreat. Those arrangements will be described when bookings open.

Health and wellbeing

Walking, travel, group conversation and time away can be demanding as well as nourishing. You remain responsible for your own health, travel insurance and decisions. Nothing on the site promises a particular emotional or spiritual outcome.
